USPS Proposes Mid-Year Rate Increase
The USPS proposed a mid-year rate increase to help expedite their ability to generate new revenues. When approved by the Postal Rate Commission (PRC), the second rate hike this year will become effective August 29, 2021. The increase impacts “Market Dominant” products, such as First Class Mail letters, postcards, marketing mail, periodicals, package services and mailing services.
