Adam has led the growth of BR from Bay Area focused and bound to today’s enterprise with 5 plants across the country and employees in 15+ states. He is in the process of building the best team in the printing industry by surrounding himself with talented, hard-working, loyal, creative, and entrepreneurial people. Adam was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and holds a Bachelors of Science and Commerce in Finance from Santa Clara University. He and his wife live in Monte Sereno, CA with their 4 kids. The family started the L&A family foundation in 2019 with the mission of “raising money for causes they believe in while having a great time doing so.” Adam loves to travel, all sports, hosting barbeques in his backyard, and enjoys a good concert—especially Bruce Springsteen.
Building on a technical foundation from public accounting, Cristy provides financial support proven to deliver results. A specialist in the consumer products sector, she creates business plans, financial models, and strategies that maximize growth and profitability. You’d think bean counting and performing excel magic would indicate right brain dominance, but you’ll be surprised to know Cristy flexes the left side in appreciation of creative outlets like dance, photography, and music.

Scott brings expertise from big four public accounting at KPMG and transaction advisory services at Plante Moran & FTI Consulting; having worked on transactions valued between $1,000,000 and $1,275,000,000. He brings a can-do and collaborative attitude to the BR team, focused on growing the company through acquisition and strategic financial planning. When he is not building forecast analyses, Scott enjoys spending time on the golf course and floating through Midwest summers at the lake.
Leveraging his strong and deep publishing and printing relations in the US and UK, Bob’s passion is seeking business that fits BR well. He is a hunter true to his assignment—target, close and hand off accounts to the sales team. With travel curtailed, Bob’s been homebound with his wife, 3 college undergraduates and new puppy. When not building client relationships, Bob enjoys skiing, playing golf and tennis, and drinking fine wines.
Steve is a seasoned sales pro with over 30 years of print sales and sales management experience in both digital and offset environments. With a focus on books, he’s motivated by providing comprehensive customer solutions to enhance satisfaction and success. A teambuilder and believer in relationships, Steve appreciates working alongside the talented BR Sales and Manufacturing teams to achieve their goals. When he’s not managing the sales team, Steve is managing the drama on the home front with his 3 teenaged daughters, assisted by his wife of 22 years, Amy. Steve has an eclectic taste in music, and in his limited time off enjoys golf, hiking with his dog Toby, and all sports …particularly when they involve Auburn!

David believes the strongest manufacturing arm within the BR family is on the west coast, under his leadership. When he’s not working with his teams to deliver high quality products that delight customers, David enjoys reading and long walks on the beach. He has also been known to be a positive vocal enthusiast for his children at their sporting events when not coaching.

When not implementing workforce optimized and time saving systems integrations and technology solutions for BR and our customers, Adam eats, sleeps, and breathes sports. He’s an active dad, attending his son’s football and baseball games, and riding bikes and taking spa days with his daughter. An avid sports memorabilia collector, fall Saturdays are designated college football holidays with all members of the Rothenberger household cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Tim has been President at CJK for 7 years. Before joining CJK, he had the good fortune of holding leadership positions in a variety of industries. Although he joined the print industry later in his career, he claims that he is only a little bit crazy. His experience has taught him the key to being a good leader is to build a great team around you (like at CJK), develop a solid game plan together, and then do your best to stay out of the team’s way. Tim is married with 3 adult children, all getting paid by someone else (finally!).
With over 20 years of experience in traditional and digital printing, wide format, screen printing, mailing, packaging, fulfillment and logistics, Reza believes BR’s greatest asset is our employees. He maintains the only way to be the best at anything is by challenging yourself by thinking out side of the box , learning fast, planning and executing by working smart.
Out of the plant, Reza enjoys traveling with his family, watching Formula One, and a good single malt whiskey.
Susan’s storied career in apparel marketing started in Vail, Colorado as the owner of a ladies clothing and jewelry store. Modeling connected her to many skiwear and sportwear brands, eventually leading her to a Marketing and Merchandising position in Vermont. A position with the America’s Cup yacht racing team necessitated a move the San Diego. Working with multiple vendors to acquire crew gear and to license the Stars & Stripes name for sponsors and merchandise tents, she realized an opportunity to control the supply chain more tightly for the team. With a partner, Susan purchased a 12-head embroidery machine. Within a year they purchased 3 more machines, added promotional products to their apparel offerings, and thus Casa del Mar, a full service, boutique style promotional products company, came to be.
Kathy is the grand dame of BR, with a tenure of 25 years (she obviously started when she was a child). She has worked in many areas of the company, finally settling (at least for now) in Human Resources. Outside of the workplace, Kathy spends time with her 2 grown children and recently added son-in-law. Kathy welcomed her first grandchild over the holidays, a lucky little boy certain to be doted upon.
Tom has been in the printing industry for over 45 years. At a young age, he first learned typesetting with movable lead type. Over the years, he has operated 40” to 77” sheetfed and web presses, die cutters, and folder gluers.
His love for printing continues in Labels. Tom opened Epic Label Solutions to ensure customers receive the very best “Epic” service, get their labels fast, and most importantly, that they are “Epic” satisfied.
When he’s not making Epic labels, he enjoys cooking for family and friends and spending time with his wife and boys.
