Job Description:

The ideal candidate must have a high level of energy and professionalism, think critically, feel confident, and be comfortable handling multiple tasks. This individual is responsible for generating new leads, building, and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. They will identify potential customers, make cold calls, and schedule appointments to meet with clients. The Sales Rep will present product offerings, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales deals. They will also provide excellent customer service, handle inquiries, be extremely detail-oriented, and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Sales Rep will stay up to date with industry trends, attend trade shows and events, and actively participate in sales meetings and training sessions. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Promotes and sells products and services through suggestive sales techniques to meet and surpass sales goals.
  • Develop presentations and proposals for customers.
  • Writes up and processes sales on computerized order forms in a professional manner and in accordance with guidelines.
  • Relays appropriate information to customers to enhance the company’s image.
  • Research trends and technical developments through related publications and training sessions to maintain current knowledge and specifically meet customer requests.
  • Understands and supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.
  • Use of a personal vehicle may be required to meet the client’s wants and needs.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Embroidery, Screen Printing, and Promotional Products is a must.
  • Having a current book of business is a must.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; think critically; manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and very organized.
  • Reliable, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Proactive with a team-player outlook.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality
  • Excellent phone skills with strong email and writing etiquette.
  • Proficient in computer skills, Email, CSKU Project Management, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Experience:

  • Sales/Customer Service Promotional Product Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Current client list purchasing promotional products (Preferred)
  • ESP(ASI) or Sage (PPAI) Software: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel/Word: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Thunderbird / Outlook Email: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Common SKU Project Management: 3 years (Preferred)

Salary:

  • $52,000 / year + Commission
